Am I going to die alone?
Good grief! You're sixteen and have spent the "better part of your life..." you haven't even HAD the better part of your life yet! Your life hasn't even STARTED yet. Honestly, I think you're a bit depressed, and this is common at your age. It's so easy to get caught in a funk, especially when the kids around you don't appreciate you, and you don't feel like you're worth much. If you packed it all in, you wouldn't know how the story ends, would you? I'm in my thirties and plenty of people I went to high school with that were totally unattractive and had nothing going for them are now in loving relationships and very happy with their lives. There's someone out there for everyone, it takes some of us longer than others to find the right one. And about not making money doing your passion...well, it's nice to have a passion. Mine is writing. One day I hope to make a living at it, but for now I work in an office. It pays the bills, and you'll probably have to do the same. So? Sixteen is way too early to considering "packing it in." Believe it or not, your brain isn't even fully developed yet. So a lot of your social awkwardness, etc may be because of that. In other words, you'll grow out of it! This is not the end of your life, it is just the very beginning. Don't despair. Like I told someone earlier...high school is like a prison sentence. It's horrible while it's happening, but it ENDS.
