Is it all right to do (real) pull-ups on a Smith machine with the bar in top position?

Well, neither the machine nor the floor it stands on is my property, so I obviously do not want to do any damage... Is there any danger of the thing tipping, breaking or doing something else that is undesirable under a weight of maybe 132-143 lbs (60-65kg)?
