MSN POSSIBLY BEING HACKED PLEASE PEOPLE GIVE AWNSERS?

basically my msn display name is Tommy-:) it apepar to me in chat as it, however my friend print screened it and it was this " kdhdskjdkjdfhkdj ( star symbol) " why??? when i change it ( even tho it was already the same my m8 said its still there, what do i do, im worried im being hacked, if u awnser PLEASE PLEASE check back within in 5 mins and write another awnser as i will comment on yours thanks
