What is 'Faith', and is it a desirable or undesirable trait to have?

Faith is the most desirable trait you can have. To have faith in God's Word is to believe that God will do what He said He would do. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. All that is required to get into God's heaven is to put your faith and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins, was buried and raised again the third day for your justification. Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
